The Middle Ages was a period between V century to XV century, a very long time.
The king was the main authority. There were 3 groups of people:
- Nobles and knights:
They were rich and they lived in castles.
- Priests and monks:
They lived in monasteries.
- Servants:
They were free.
The rich lived in castles. The monks lived in monasteries. The poor lived in small houses.
They ate fish and meat. They drank wine.
Men wore tunics and pants. Women wore long dresses.
Boys went to school but girls didn't. The rich studied at home. They wrote on wax tablets and on paper.
They had tournaments. They looked for the Holy Grail. They spoke Latin. They built big cathedrals.
