XMAS CRACKERS

Hi! I´m Marta from class 6C and I am going to talk about XMAS CRACKERS.

-What is a Xmas cracker?
A Xmas craker is a flashy coloured paper tube. A person pulls on each end of the cracker and when the cracker beaks, a small sound like ear "POP" and the contents fall out.
Crackers are very traditional items to have at Xmas in Britain.

-What has it got inside?
A Xmas craker traditionally contains a paper crown, a small gift and a joke written on a slip of paper.
The gift in a cracker depends on how much pay the better the quality of the gift.
A box has got 12 crackers in her inside and costing $10.

-How to pull a Xmas cracker?
The traditional way to pull a cracker is crossing the arms and pulling a whole circle of crackers around the table.
Everyone holds their cracker in their right hand and pulls their neighbour cracker with free left hand.

-Who invented Xmas crackers and when?
Xmas crackers were invented by Thomas Smith in 1846.
