The  Egyptians lived near the Rive  Nile . It is the longest river in the world.
The pharaoh was the most important person .
There were three groups of people :
-The rich : nobles , priests , scribes , ...
-Freemen : artisans , farmers , ...
-Slaves.

The rich lived in palaces or big houses . The poor lived in small houses made of mud . They ate fruit , meat , vegetables and fish .They drank beer . They made bread . 
Boys went to school , but girls didn´t . They wrote on paper (papyrus). 
They made big pyramids . The Great Pyramid of Giza is one of the seven wonders of the world. 
They had birds and monkeys as pets . They loved cats . 
Men wore kits and women wore dresses . Both loved jewellry and makeup.
