THE ANCIENT EGYPTIANS BY ZERIHUN 6ºB

The Egyptians lived near the river Nile.The pharaoh was the most  important person.
There were 3 groups of people:
-The rich: nobles, priests, scribes,...
-Free men: artisans, farmers,...
-Slaves.

The rich lived in palaces or big houses;The poor lived in small houses  mode of mud.
They ate fruit,meat,vegetables and fish .They drank beer.
They made bread.

Boys went to school but girls didn't.They wrote on paper (papyrus).
They made big pyramids.They had birds and monkeys as pets.
They loved cats.Men wore kilts and women wore dresses . Both loved 
jewellry and makeup.
