                                                     The Ancient Egyptians

The Egyptians lived near the river Nile.
The pharaoh was the most important person.
There were 3 groups of people:
-The rich: nobles , priests , scribes ...
-Freeman: artisans , farmers ...
-Slaves

The rich lived in big houses or palaces.The poor lived in small houses made of mud.
They ate fruit , meat , vegetables and fsh.They drank beer.They made bread.
Boys went to scool , but girls didn´t. They wrote on paper (papyrus).
They made big pyramids.They had birds and monkeys as pets.They loved cats.
Men wore kilts an women wore dresses. Both loved jewelry and makeup.
