                                                                   THE    EGYPTIANS

The Egyptians lived near the river Nile.
The pharaoh was the most important person. 
There were three groups of people: The rich, freeman and slaves.
The rich lived in big houses or palaces. 
The poor lived in small houses made of mud. 
They ate fruit, meat, vegetables and fish. 
They drank beer.
Boys went to school, but girls didn´t.
They wrote on paper (papyrus).
They made bread and big pyramids too.
