The Egyptians lived near the river Nile.
The pharaoh was the most important person.
There
were 3 groups of people
-The rich: nobles, priests ...
-Freeman: artisans, farmers
-Slaves
The rich lived in palaces or big houses.
The poor lived in small houses made of mud.
They ate fruits , meat ,vegetables and fish.
They drank beer. They made bread . Boys went to
school , but girls didn t .They wrote on paper (papyrus).
They made big pyramids.
They had birds and monkeys as pets.They
wore dresses.Both loved jewellry and makeup.
